GREY GOODNESS WITH THE FELT VERTICAL CABAS

Seasons are now fading into one big year and appropriateness of colours is becoming a thing of the past. The new collection by Caravan bags feature a wool felt bi-cabas that mixes the classic carry-all tote with a smooth finish and beige leather shell and handles. Now as staple as black or white, grey is now considered a monochromatic colour that has a place in the warmer months and cooler days.

Each Caravan bag is hand made and is created to be functional and wearable. This season there is an emphasis on graphic prints to add some spark. As seen all over the world during fashion weeks, layering prints and textures are the new way of styling. GYPSY BUCKET BAG

The bucket bag has taken hold of the fashion community and become a staple bag that has its' uses within almost everyone's closet. With its undeniably roomy interior, drawstring closure and handsfree ease - just because it is also good looking - it's function keeps this trend from going away anytime soon.

Conforming only to making timeless pieces that are of utmost quality, Caravan's Gypsy bag was crafted for these very reasons. A bucket shaped bag was originally created in 1932 by Louis Vuitton and was named "Noe." It was proposed as the perfect shape for carrying champagne bottles when going to events. Its large & deep interior made it easy to carry up to 5 bottles at a time and because of the drawstring closure - it kept the bottles from moving and getting shaken up.

Now days, we probably don't need to use our Gypsy bags for carrying wine, but you can use it this summer when hiking in the mountains or overseas on a European adventure where comfort, style and safety are key. This also goes for your everyday adventures in your home city.

NEW CARAVAN DOT TOTES

This week our new Caravan spring/summer range arrived in store. Sporting fun prints on cotton and beige leather, these beauties are just what you need for summer time.

This is just one of the many new styles and features a wonderful dot print on top of smooth cotton. One of our favourite artists Yayoi Kusuma is known for creating bright and bold instillation art works featuring her signature dots. We absolutely love the polka dot print and like its ties to high-art. It is both cute yet knowingly sophisticated.
